Team Afful recruits participants to take on the assault course the Nuts Challenge that will take place 5th-6th September 2015.

«Last summer our team has done very well and we want to encourage people from all ages and fitness level to sign up and get ready to tackle this exciting challenge». It is definitely a tough race but it’s also lots of fun. Plus it gives you extra motivation to workout harder in preparation of the race. Given that the race is in September, we advise individuals that are interested in training for it to add a few sessions Boot Camp per week for the months of June, July and August. Summer is the perfect season for training outdoor with the added benefit of breathing fresh air and soaking the sun. «We have special packages for Boot Camp training in preparation of the Nuts Challenge. New Members’ Lounge

Our clients now have a privileged access to our new Members’ Lounge. « The Members’ Lounge is a private social network where members can share tricks and ideas, information, pictures, videos and track their fitness progress. On your personal page, which you don’t need to share with other members, you can log in your food diary, training program and daily exercises, so your trainer can give you some feedback on the spot ». « I have been using the Members’ Lounge since a few weeks now and I have to say it is very intuitive and gives me more motivation to carry on with my healthy routine. Sam and Yaba post helpful tips and there is a real sense of community between the members. I particularly like the friendly competition section where you gain some virtual points for the level of activity you do during a day ». The Members’ Lounge is available for all our clients. The annual awards celebrated another successful year at The College of West Anglia Sports Campus recognising the great contribution of the current and previous students. Three ex-students of the college returned to speak about what they are doing and their experiences, while two more names were added to the Hall of Fame. They were Dr Lee Smith, currently a research Scientist at the University of Central London, Gavin Caney sports journalist at the Eastern Daily Press at King’s Lynn, and Patrick Manifold, professional basketball player for Glasgow Rocks. “We are extremely proud of our students’ contributions to their studies and in the local community.” Joining the CWA Sports Campus Hall of Fame this year were Gavin Caney, who is now a sports journalist, and Yaba Afful who is now a Personal Trainer, both of whom have excelled and making their way in the world doing something they love.
